Asian cruise line sets sail with voyages from Mumbai

Resorts World Cruises is charting new waters in India as its Resorts World One ship sets anchor in Mumbai. From 5 March to 1 June 2025, the cruise line will offer roundtrip voyages, with bookings available from 3 February.

This expansion into India's nascent cruise tourism landscape builds upon the company’s established success in operating fly-cruise vacations across Singapore, Dubai and multiple Southeast Asian destinations.

The ship’s deployment directly supports the government's Cruise Bharat Mission, and leverages the newly constructed Mumbai International Cruise Terminal.

“Mumbai is the main gateway to cruising in India and Indians will have the convenience of departing from their ‘doorsteps’, without the need to fly to another country,”said Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises.

Departing from Mumbai International Cruise Terminal at Mumbai Port, Resorts World One will offer three weekly round-trip itineraries, including to Goa and the Lakshadweep Islands:

2-night weekend High Seas Cruise departing Fridays at 9pm, returning Sundays at 1pm. This weekend sea-cation allows passengers to unwind without taking days off work or school. While cruising at sea, guests can enjoy the ship’s comforts and amenities.
3-night Lakshadweep Cruise departing Sundays at 9pm and returning Wednesdays at 4pm. A full day on the high seas followed by a visit to Agatti Island, a coral atoll in the Lakshadweep archipelago. Here, passengers can explore the beach, snorkel in the lagoon, feast on local seafood and participate in activities, from scuba diving to glass bottom boat tours.
2-night Goa Cruise departing Wednesdays at 10pm, arriving in Goa on Thursday before returning to Mumbai by Friday at 2pm. Passengers can explore Goa’s rich history, architecture and beaches.

Agatti Island

Accommodations on Resorts World One range from Interior Staterooms to Oceanview and Balcony Staterooms, and The Palace suites, which come with exclusive privileges and round-the-clock butler service.

Dining is available at 18 international restaurants, with certified vegetarian, Jain and halal cuisine available. Onboard amenities include a Roman-themed pool complex, live entertainment, virtual gaming and spa facilities.
