Sailings from China and Hong Kong take in popular, new and ‘nowhere’ destinations from May 2026
Royal Caribbean has unveiled 2026-27 itineraries taking in Japan, South Korea and Vietnam departing from China’s Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Journeys range between two and nine nights aboard Spectrum of the Seas starting May 2026 with bookings now being taken on the Royal Caribbean website.
Destinations include Tokyo and Mount Fuji in Japan, Busan and Jeju in South Korea and Da Nang, Vietnam's fourth largest city located in the west coast, while one option from Hong Kong is a ‘cruise-to-nowhere’ weekend at sea.
“This is one of our most exciting lineups yet, with incredible new destinations and longer, more immersive itineraries," said Benjamin Bouldin, President, Royal Caribbean International China.
"From vibrant cityscapes to breathtaking coastal escapes, these new adventures are designed for travellers looking to experience the best of Asia in a whole new way."

One of the highlights is the first eight-night adventure to Mount Fuji and the Fives Lakes region and the historic city of Nagoya.
Shorter escapes explore Busan’s Gamcheon Culture Village, the hot springs of Kumamoto and the subtropical islands of Okinawa that are known as the Hawaii of the East.
The 2026-27 season will have holiday sailings including Christmas and Thanksgiving, with themed entertainment, activities and dining.
Weekend cruise showcases Spectrum of the Seas
Royal Caribbean will expand its presence in Hong Kong with a series of itineraries from November 2026, including the 'cruise-to-nowhere' experience where passengers can make the most of the facilities and entertainment aboard Spectrum of the Seas, which was specifically designed for the Asian market.
Guests can enjoy panoramic views of Hong Kong’s famous harbour skyline from the North Star observation capsule 300 feet above sea level, or even sample the thrill of skydiving on the RipCord by iFly.

There is also SeaPlex, the largest indoor sports and entertainment complex at sea, while dining options include regionally inspired cuisine at Hot Pot, Teppanyaki and Sichuan Red. Families will also be entertained by shows including Silk Road and The Effectors.
Further highlights include custom juice drinks crafted by robots at the Bionic Bar, and in-suite private 3D cinemas for kareoke sessions.
