Abu Dhabi’s popular beachfront hotel will focus on wellness
Abu Dhabi’s Al Raha Beach Hotel has been rebranded as Al Raha Beach Resort & Spa.
The move was described by General Manager Kamal Zayati as setting “our sights on an exciting future for this extraordinary destination”.
Managed by Danat Hotels & Resorts, part of The National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H), the popular beachfront property has 278 rooms, suites and villas with a focal point being the 900-metre private beach.
The hotel also features seven restaurants and multifunctional meeting space, including a ballroom for up to 950 guests, but the rebrand places greater emphasis on wellness.

Starting in February, the property will introduce expanded spa and wellness facilities managed by Wellbeings Holistic Healing Company.
“This transformation is more than a name change,” said Zayati. “It is a pledge to become a haven of wellbeing, where every guest embarks on a holistic journey for the body, mind and soul. We are continually enhancing our facilities to deliver unmatched leisure, relaxation and wellness experiences.”
The rebrand follows a landmark year for the hotel which opened its doors in 2005. In 2024, Al Raha secured the highest ever daily rates and room revenue, and received guest satisfaction scores of 92 to 95%.
The resort is also upgrading rooms, recreational spaces, pools and event venues, while implementing sustainability in its operations.
