Dubai hotel earns the highest climber award

Atlantis The Royal has been ranked ninth in The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024, jumping 35 spots into the top 10 and earning the Highest Climber Award 2024.

Highlights in the hotel's year include partnering with Dolce & Gabbana to take over the famous Cloud 22 infinity pool (pictured) and celebrating its first anniversary with custom-made Louis Vuitton Vivienne statues decorating the 795-key resort.

The accolade underscores Atlantis The Royal's positioning as an ultra-luxury experiential resort. The achievement follows its recognition last year as the only hotel from the Middle East to make the list, debuting at number 44.

Following its 2023 debut in 2023, the second edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels took place at an awards ceremony at London's historic Guildhall on 17 September.

Capella Bangkok was crowned number one on The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024 list. The hotel features vast suites and villas, dining by superstar chef Mauro Colagreco and highly skilled concierges called Capella Culturalists.

Last year's winner Passalacqua came in at number two with Rosewood Hong Kong in third place. See the full list here.
