Crystal unveils themed cruises to celebrate 35 years at sea

Chef Nobu and Broadway actress Christine Andreas lead star-studded lineup

Celebrating more than three decades of cruising, Crystal has revealed its themed cruises in 2025, with exclusive voyages to celebrate the brand’s 35th anniversary.

From June to October 2025, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony will visit destinations across Europe and North America.

The curated voyages will feature a lineup of luminaries, including Michelin-rated Chef Nobuyuki (Nobu) Matsuhisa, Broadway actress Christine Andreas and Abercrombie & Kent Founder Geoffrey Kent.

Whether sailing around the Mediterranean or exploring Canada and New England in the autumn, guests can enjoy unique dining experiences and performances featuring the cruise line’s most popular musicians and comedians.

Long-time Crystal partner Chef Nobu will host cooking demonstrations and deliver an exclusive Vintage Room dinner aboard a seven-night voyage of the Baltics and Scandinavia.

The famed chef, whose empire includes 36 Nobu hotels and 56 restaurants, chose Crystal for his only restaurant at sea back in 2003 with Umi Uma remaining a guest favourite more than two decades later.

Both ships will also host a Crystal anniversary gala alongside special events and Crystal Society reunions, and passengers will also have the opportunity to meet Captains John Oekland and Egil Giske and Cruise Directors Paul McFarland and Gary Hunter.

What’s more, Crystal Society members can enjoy double Society Savings – 5% rather than the standard 2.5% – on these commemorative sailings.

"Our guests deeply appreciate our themed voyages, as they offer a truly immersive experience,” said VP of Entertainment and Enrichment Keith Cox.

“Whether it's indulging in their passion for music, culinary delights or cultural enrichment, our carefully curated itineraries and exclusive events bring their interests to life in an extraordinary way.  We look forward to celebrating our 35th anniversary with our loyal guests and some of our most beloved partners and former officers throughout 2025.”

As six-star luxury ships, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity have a crew-to-guest ratio of nearly 1-to-1, and all suite categories have access to personal butler service. Crystal is home to the first-ever Casino de Monte-Carlo at sea and also features cutting-edge wellness and award-winning dining.

A recent multimillion-dollar refurbishment of the Crystal Symphony includes revamped suites, expanded public spaces and new wellness offerings.
