Dubai’s Jumeirah reopens seasonal hotels in Europe

This season, guests can enjoy Mallorca’s landscapes on a vintage wooden train and new suites in Capri

Dubai’s luxury hospitality brand Jumeirah will reopen two of its key European properties for the upcoming summer season.

Mediterranean hotels Jumeirah Mallorca and Jumeirah Capri Palace (pictured above) will welcome guests from 15 March and 17 April 2025, respectively, with a host of new collaborations and guest experiences.

Jumeirah Mallorca
Jumeirah Mallorca, situated near the UNESCO Heritage Serra de Tramuntana on the Spanish island, offers 121 sea- and mountain-facing rooms, plus recently refurbished suites, five restaurants and the signature Talise Spa.

This season, the hotel has collaborated with renowned local perfumer Viti Vinci on a bespoke ‘Tramuntana Mist’ range of bathroom amenities, and guests have the chance to tour the Viti Vinci Atelier in Palma to discover the art of perfumery.

There is also an exclusive excursion through the Tramuntana Mountains, taking in the legendary Sa Calobra Road before venturing to a secluded bay.

Guests can explore Mallorca’s landscapes on a vintage wooden train, which passes through valleys and villages, stopping off to sample local dishes and wines, or take an exclusive tour of the winemaking process at Macià Batle, including lunch paired with the estate’s vintages.

Jumeirah Capri Palace
Jumeirah Capri Palace, located in an unspoilt part of the glamorous Italian island, has 67 rooms and suites with light and airy interiors that capture the palazzo style.

This summer, the hotel reopens with a new set of suites curated by architect Patricia Urquiola, which blend the island’s past with contemporary design. Urquiola’s influence will extend to the pool and bar areas.

Art lovers will appreciate the hotel’s own The White Museum, a private collection of contemporary works showcased throughout the property, with new additions including Maurizio Galimberti’s Polaroid Mosaics and graphite-on-paperwork by Serse, courtesy of the artist and Galleria Continua.

The hotel will host a series of exclusive dining events from April to August, bringing Michelin-starred chefs to the island for the first time. Capri Palace has the island’s only two-Michelin-starred restaurant, L'Olivo, celebrity hotspot Il Riccio Restaurant and Zuma.
