The property will include an outdoor pool and one of the city’s largest event spaces

Hilton Hotels is set to bring its Signia by Hilton brand to Egypt.

Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk and Signia by Hilton Residences Cairo Skywalk will open in Cairo’s newest destination, a prestigious mixed-use development in west Cairo with retail, F&B venues and hotels.

This will mark the brand’s debut in Egypt and Africa and second property in the Middle East, with the 272-key Signia by Hilton Amman in Jordan open since February 2025.

Strategically located just minutes from downtown, the two properties will offer easy access to the city’s landmarks, from the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to the Giza Pyramids. The Sphinx International Airport is a 20-minute car ride, while Cairo International Airport is 50 minutes away.

The development, a collaboration between Hilton Hotels and Skywalk Developments, will “redefine urban living, offering residents and visitors an unbeatable location and a lifestyle community that provides the perfect blend of entertainment, hospitality and retail”, said Khaled Rasekh, Chairman at Skywalk Developments.

The hotel will offer 200 rooms and suites, including Club Signia suites offering guests access to an exclusive lounge with bespoke concierge services and chef-curated, around-the-clock meals.

Five restaurants and bars include an all-day dining venue, a grill and a pool bar, with other facilities including a gym, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and 5,000 square metres of meeting spaces, among the city’s largest capacities. A ballroom and an outdoor event lawn is part of the mix.

The residences will offer 200 units including one- and two-bedroom apartments and residents will have access to a private lounge, a pool, a fitness centre and a concierge.
