Wassim Daageh brings two decades of experience in luxury hospitality
Muscat’s St Regis Al Mouj Resort has appointed Wassim Daageh as its new General Manager.
Part of Marriott Bonvoy's collection, St Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort is a luxurious coastal retreat nestled in the heart of Al Mouj. Blending Omani heritage with contemporary design, the resort offers 250 rooms and suites with private balconies, as well as a Guerlain spa and nine dining venues including the Oman outpost of Hakkasan.
With more than 20 years' experience in luxury hospitality, Daageh has held multiple leadership positions across prestigious global properties.
As General Manager at W Doha Hotel and Residences in Qatar for seven years, he opened new revenue streams for the hotel and for Qatar's tourism industry, overseeing large-scale, high-profile international events, including the FIFA World Cup and Formula 1.
Throughout his time in Qatar, Daageh was recognised with numerous industry accolades, including being named Global General Manager of the Year by Marriott International. He also received the 'Outstanding Service Excellence Award' at the inaugural Qatar Tourism Awards 2023.
