New routes will connect Riyadh and Entebbe, Uganda and Jeddah and Djibouti
Saudi Arabian budget airline Flynas will expand its flight network adding two new African destinations in January 2025.
The services will commence on 8 January 2025 with three weekly flights from Riyadh to Entebbe, Uganda, and three weekly flights from Jeddah to Djibouti.
The expansion aligns with the airline’s ‘We Connect the World to the Kingdom’ initiative and supports Saudi Arabia’s national civil aviation strategy, which aims to extend connectivity to 250 global destinations and serve 330 million passengers a year.

The new routes to Entebbe and Djibouti will also support Saudi Arabia’s ambition to welcome 150 million tourists annually by 2030 and to enhance the Pilgrims Experience Programme for religious travellers.
This announcement comes on the heels of a significant increase in domestic seat capacity by more than 480,000 during the summer, covering routes to Taif, Abha, and Al-Baha, marking a 21% increase over the previous year.
The airline continues to expand its fleet, with the addition of its 53rd A320neo in July, part of an ongoing order for 120 Airbus aircraft.
