Shenzhen Airlines to commence three weekly flights to Doha

New service from Chinese hub to begin on 29 October

Chinese carrier Shenzhen Airlines is set to begin three weekly services a week between its Shenzhen base and Doha from 29 October 2024.

The airline will deploy its long-haul Airbus A330-300 on the new route, with flights departing Shenzhen at 1am on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, arriving in the Qatari capital at 6am.

The return flights will leave Doha at 7:15pm, landing in Shenzhen the following morning at 8:45am.

The A330-300 aircraft have a three-class configuration, seating 18 passengers across a 2-2-2 lie-flat business class cabin, 24 in 2-4-2 premium economy and 267 in 2-4-2 economy class.

Shenzhen Airlines is an Air China subsidiary. It currently operates a fleet of 200 aircraft, including six long-haul A330-300s.

Shenzhen Airlines also flies the widebody aircraft on routes including Barcelona and London. The rest of its network consists predominantly of domestic flying, but also regional services including Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan.
