More than 40 supplier partners attend Dubai event

Travel Counsellors, one of the largest and fastest-growing companies for travel entrepreneurs, celebrated its team’s successes and honoured its standout members at its annual UAE conference.

Hosted by Al Habtoor Palace, Dubai, the team gathered to share its vision for the continued growth and success of the platform, which currently supports more than 90 travel professionals in the UAE.

This year’s theme was ‘Sustainable Futures’ and personal branding expert Kelly Lundberg held a workshop entitled ‘Sustainable success: building a personal brand that lasts’, sharing many practical tips for those in attendance.

Carol Glynn of Conscious Finance Coaching provided the travel entrepreneurs with insight and motivation into using their business success to ensure a sustainable financial future.

The supplier show was attended by more than 40 supplier partners including this year’s headline partners Atmosphere Core, Adaaran Resorts, Heritance Aarah and host venue Al Habtoor Palace.

Holly McCann, Travel Counsellors UAE General Manager, was joined on stage by Natasha Hatherall, Dubai-based CEO and founder of TishTash Communications, who talked about her entrepreneurial journey and offered advice for sustained business success.

Conservation scientist Jennifer Croes rounded out the speakers, engaging the conference in a discussion about responsible tourism and the value of initiatives already in place through Travel Counsellors, including having Green Leaf properties tagged in Phenix, the company’s technology platform.

Travel Counsellor Gillian McLornan said: “This is my 11th conference and each year they get bigger and better. There were a host of practical and professional tips to take back to my business and further enhance the experiences I provide for my customers.”

The conference concluded with a gala dinner and awards evening hosted by Virgin Radio presenter Kris Fade, together with McCann and, from UK headquarters, Global Sales Director Jim Eastwood.

Established in 2012 as a joint venture with Dnata, Travel Counsellors UAE now supports 96 travel entrepreneurs through its platform. The company opened its second branch in Abu Dhabi in 2023.
