Akala will include an ultra-luxury hotel and curated fitness programmes
UAE-based developer Arada is set to launch the "world’s first precision wellness destination" in Dubai, with Akala scheduled to open in 2029.
Located between Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Downtown Dubai, the AED5 billion development is designed to deliver a “weightless” lifestyle focused on longevity, performance and wellbeing.
Once complete, Akala will complement Therme Dubai, the world's tallest wellbeing resort with mineral pools and a thermal complex, which is slated to open in 2028.
Akala will feature two 220-metre-tall towers (pictured top) and include an ultra-luxury hotel, branded residences and a precision wellness ecosystem underpinned by advanced medical diagnostics, performance-driven therapies and personalised service.
