First Look: Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Australia

First opened in 1966, near Sydney Opera House, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth reopened in November 2024 following refurbishment. All 436 newly designed rooms and suites pair natural tones with soft, sculptural forms, smart lighting, heritage-listed bathtubs, bespoke Balmain amenities and portable gym kits. Among the new food and drink venues, Delta Rue offers Vietnamese-French cuisine and a Champagne bar, Tilda mixes nostalgic cocktails with a soundtrack of live jazz, while the rooftop Wentworth Bar is home to one of the city’s largest outdoor terraces.
