First Look: The Standard Singapore, Southeast Asia

Opened December 2024, The Standard Singapore marks the ninth outpost for the design-forward brand born on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip 25 years ago. Tucked in a leafy enclave steps from UNESCO-listed Botanic Gardens and Orchard Road, the hotel's 143 rooms are blessed with floor-to-ceiling windows. Culinary offerings include Kaya, using regional ingredients to reimagine the izakaya experience, and Café Standard, a street-facing bistro serving American fare. Guests can also sample Japanese-inspired cocktails at the pool’s swim-up bar, or explore the multi-level garden, which brims with lush greenery and features art installations.
