5 stunning new resorts opening in summer 2024

India-Jayne Trainor highlights attractive hotels launching this season

With a few months before the peak summer season begins, agents have a host of new resorts to sell to customers. From Greece to the US, new properties are popping up all over the world, with a wealth of incredible choices catering to all types of travellers. From all-inclusive family stays to adult-only beach retreats; whether clients want swim-up rooms, great food or luxury spas, these new properties have all bases covered.

1. Cali Resort & Spa, Cyprus
The adult-only Cali Resort & Spa opened at the end of May 2024 in sunny Paphos. Just a few hundred metres from the beautiful Coral Bay Beach, it’s the perfect base for discovering this Mediterranean gem. The hotel’s centrepiece is a freshwater pool surrounded by cabanas and loungers, but it also has an indoor pool and spa with a sauna and steam room.

Set around the main pool are 201 bright and sumptuous rooms, which come with views over either the pool or sea. Cali’s skilled chefs use healthy, local ingredients in the two restaurants, Aria and Fiki, with the former serving buffet-style international cuisine, while the latter offers delectable Japanese fusion dishes with live cooking demonstrations. At the hotel’s two bars, Calista and Sonata, guests can enjoy freshly mixed classic cocktails by the water as the sun goes down.
