Dnata signs new multi-year contract with Royal Jordanian Airlines

UAE-based airport services company will continue to support Jordan's national carrier in the US

Emirati airport services company Dnata has signed a new multi-year ground handling contract with Royal Jordanian Airlines at John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York.

The carrier’s daily service between JFK Terminal 8 and Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Amman will see Dnata provide its passenger, ramp and baggage services to passengers.

The contract expands its existing partnership with Royal Jordanian Airlines in the USA, with Dnata already providing ground handling services to the airline in Detroit (DTW) for the past four years.

Operating at Terminals 1 and 4, Dnata serves more than 30 airlines at JFK International Airport with a team of 1,100 aviation professionals, who handle more than 21,000 annual flights.

Including Royal Jordanian Airlines, Dnata provides a range of ground handling, logistics and cargo services to more than 70 airline customers throughout the USA with 3,300 customer-oriented employees. 

In the financial year past financial year, Dnata turned around more than 60,000 flights in the USA, handling more than 18 million passengers and 200,000 tonnes of cargo.
