Etihad to increase flights from Abu Dhabi to Dusseldorf and Copenhagen

New Germany and Denmark flights to commence October 2025

Etihad Airways is expanding its European network, adding daily services to Dusseldorf in Germany, and Copenhagen in Denmark.

The UAE’s national carrier will commence both routes from 1 October 2025.

The Dusseldorf route will see an increase from its current weekly schedule to a daily service. The expansion represents an addition of four weekly flights, providing passengers with greater flexibility.

Flights to Dusseldorf will depart Abu Dhabi at 02:55, arriving in the German city at 08:05. The return flights will leave Dusseldorf at 10:30 and land back in the UAE capital at 19:00.

Furthermore, the German hub will now be served year-round, rather than just seasonally, offering consistent travel options throughout the calendar.

Copenhagen waterfront

The Copenhagen route will go from its present four-times-weekly schedule to daily operations. This change adds three more weekly flights to the Danish capital, further strengthening Etihad's presence in Scandinavia.

This service will depart Abu Dhabi at 03:15, arriving in Copenhagen at 08:05. The flight back to Abu Dhabi will leave the Danish capital at 10:40, touching down in Abu Dhabi at 19:00.

Etihad Airways’ Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, Arik De said: "This move to daily flights for Dusseldorf and Copenhagen marks an exciting chapter in our European expansion.”
