Andaz Doha has four Royal Suites and a South African restaurant
Hyatt has opened lifestyle brand Andaz in Doha, marking the fourth Hyatt group hotel in the city and third Andaz in the region, following launches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Located in the plush West Bay area, close to tourist hotspots such as Souq Waqif and Katara Cultural Centre, the long-awaited Andaz Doha marks the first of a handful of hotels making their debut in the district. Other 2025 openings include the Doha Edition and the Swissôtel Doha Corniche Park Towers.
Spread across 26 floors, Andaz Doha has 256 rooms, including 32 suites and four Royal Suites, as well as 56 residences, with between one and three bedrooms, for longer stays.
The standard rooms are among the largest in the city, and all accommodations come with Nespresso machines, bathtubs and sea or city views.

Décor takes its design cues from traditional Qatari motifs and customs, from its gold and bronze colour palette accented with maroon, a nod to the Qatari flag, to the ornate wooden doorways with handles shaped like Arab walking sticks that reflect the region’s bedouin past.
Andaz Doha “pays homage to the country’s rich culture”, said Jafar AbuBaji, General Manager at Andaz Doha, and is working with local artists on design elements that include geometric mosaic tiles, traditional woven textiles, calligraphy work and disruptive art.
For dining, The Salt Road serves global flavours using South African culinary techniques, and will be joined in the coming months by Mr & Mrs Hawker, which celebrates Singaporean cuisine and features the city’s only enclosed outdoor terrace with city and sea views.
Arriving later this year, Mumble Jungle will serve Afro-Cuban-inspired cocktails to a jazz soundtrack. Opening soon, the outdoor pool and bar will add to the F&B options.
The spa features multi-sensory showers and, according to the group, the first hammam in Doha. There's also a 24/7 fitness centre.
For the MICE market, there are meeting and event spaces, too.

Qatar welcomes record 5 million visitors in 2024, up 25% on last year
New outdoor attraction features Qatar's longest zipline
The opening of Andaz Doha follows hot on the heels of the Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha reopening in February 2025, with 400 revamped rooms and suites, including a Fitness Suite with a foldable treadmill.
More than five million visitors arrived in Qatar in 2024, hitting record highs and a 25% hike on last year’s benchmark, according to data from Qatar Tourism.
The hospitality sector has grown to meet rising demand, with more than 40,000 hotel rooms, compared to less than 30,000 in 2021.
This growth is in line with Qatar’s goals of tripling visitor numbers between 2022 and 2030, and increasing total tourism contribution to the GDP to 10%.
