Travel data specialist Mabrian launches Artificial Intelligence Live Assistant
Global travel intelligence platform Mabrian has launched AILA, a virtual assistant powered by Generative AI that can boost productivity for destination and tourism company managers.
AILA is the first Gen AI tool in travel and tourism designed for the B2B market and can respond in real time to questions relating to travel data and intelligence.
Drawing on the Mabrian platform, AILA can analyse seven key data sets: Air Capacity, Traveller’s Behaviour and Sentiment, Accommodation, Spending, Telecommunications, Mobile Data, and Sustainability.
“Until now, Gen AI developments in travel and tourism have primarily focused on improving the end-customer experience,” said Santi Camps, CEO and founder of Mabrian.
“AILA represents a paradigm shift. By adapting this powerful technology to a proven data ecosystem like Mabrian’s, we exponentially increase the capabilities and efficiency of decision-makers in destinations and tourism companies.”

AILA can customise requests and prompts based on the needs of each user, providing bespoke recommendations.
While the first version of AILA works as an assistant, Mabrian is already developing a more advanced version to allow AILA to act more as an agent.
“In a competitive and ever-changing global tourism landscape, which faces significant challenges such as sustainability and the carrying capacity of destinations, Gen AI must play a key role in transforming and optimising tourism management,” said Camps.
“AILA was created with this vision to accelerate advanced analytics capabilities for tourism.”
Founded in 2013, Mabrian now operates in more than 40 countries, and provides insights from 30 global data sources, allowing Mabrian to identify and predict tourism trends worldwide.
