Grammy-nominated singer joins Katy Perry in star-studded music lineup

Pop star Benson Boone will open the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 weekend, kicking off four days of racing and live music.

Best known for his chart-topping single Beautiful Things, the Grammy-nominated pop star will join pop superstar Katy Perry, who is set to bring her biggest anthems to the Yasalam After-Race Concerts.

As the opening act, Boone will take to the stage at Etihad Park on Thursday 4 December, while headliner Perry will close the weekend concert series on Sunday 7 with a fireworks-filled finale.

Two more headliners are yet to be revealed.

Popular with the Gen Z audience, Boone brings an on-stage energy that is the “perfect way to start race weekend”, said David Powell, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer at event organiser Ethara.

“He connects with younger fans and adds something fresh to the line-up.”
