Rosewood Doha in Qatar now open for bookings

Design-led waterfront retreat in Lusail to welcome guests from 15 July

Set to open its luxury doors on 15 July 2025, Rosewood Doha in Qatar is now taking reservations.

Situated on the promenade in Lusail, Qatar’s ‘city of the future’, just 20 km along the coast from capital Doha, the five-star waterfront property marks Rosewood’s debut in Qatar and third property in the Middle East.

Designed by Ibrahim Jaidah, widely regarded as the architectural pioneer of Doha, the hotel’s striking architectural exterior is inspired by the coral formations of the Arabian Gulf, while interiors styled by Lilian Wu draw from the curves of dhow boats and seashells and include curated artwork that reflects Qatar’s landscapes and stories.

There are 155 rooms and suites spanning five categories, all with views of the Arabian Gulf or Lusail City and featuring interiors that blend contemporary luxury with natural textures and patterns inspired by Qatar’s marine life, including art and collectibles sourced from the National Museum of Qatar.

Generous in space, suites come with marble bathrooms and double rain showers, as well as bespoke chinaware by Qatari artist Ghada Al Khater.

For drinks, there’s a cocktail bar with interiors and a menu inspired by the Golden Age of travel, as well as a cigar lounge and an elegant all-day lounge serving both afternoon tea and aperitifs.

Facilities include three pools and a padel court, plus a members-only Social Wellness Club offering guests tailored wellness programmes that combine restorative treatments with movement rituals and hydrotherapy experiences.
