World-first waterfront destination coming to RAK in UAE

Mira Coral Bay to include five-star hotels and branded residences

Mira Developments has unveiled Mira Coral Bay, the world’s first multi-branded waterfront community coming to Al Mairid in Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.

Mira Coral Bay joins Ardee Al Marjan Island, another waterfront destination in RAK that was recently announced and will include a luxury hotel, dining and retail promenade.

Located just 10 minutes from Downtown Ras Al Khaimah, Mira Coral Bay will offer visitors easy access to the emirate's vibrant city life while also providing a serene waterfront retreat.

It will span more than 220,000 square metres and feature a collection of five-star hotels, beach clubs, fine-dining restaurants, as well as a mix of apartments, townhouses and villas.

Partner brands already confirmed include Dolce&Gabbana Casa, Bentley Home, Etro Home, Jacob&Co, John Richmond and Trussardi. Every residence will come fully furnished, with hotel-style services and move-in-ready interiors.

The development will include Kadar Villas that come with two special-edition luxury cars and bespoke designer interiors.

Tamara Getigezheva, Co-Founder of Mira Developments, said Mira Coral Bay was not just another project, but an answer to the ‘what-if’ question'.

“What if the world’s best brands came together in one place? What if you were surrounded by luxury at every step? And today, we are opening the next chapter, where the ‘what if’ becomes a reality.”

Mira Developments has a track record of working with leading lifestyle brands and in February 2025 announced a partnership with Swiss architectural studio A++ Group to open the world’s first Elie Saab-branded hotel in the Swiss Alps. Post Hotel & Residences will open mid-2027 in Switzerland’s Andermatt.

Ras Al Khaimah, one of the northern emirates in the UAE, is a booming tourism destination. Around a 90-minute drive from Dubai, the emirate welcomed a record 1.28 million overnight arrivals in 2024, climbing 5% from 2023.

The UAE’s first gaming resort and the Gulf’s first legal casino, Wynn Al Marjan Island, is slated to open in Ras Al Khaimah in 2027, and that is having a significant impact on the hospitality landscape.

Hotel inventory is expected to more than double by 2027, according to Stirling Hospitality Advisors, with 7,537 rooms being added.
