Royal Caribbean takes delivery of Utopia of the Seas

Newest Oasis-class ship due to enter service in July 2024

Royal Caribbean International has taken delivery of Utopia of the Seas.

The line held a ceremony to welcome the 5,668-passenger vessel into its fleet at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in France on 14 June 2024.

Utopia of the Seas will now reposition to the US before it departs on its maiden voyage from Port Canaveral in Florida on 19 July 2024.

The latest ship in the line's Oasis class will operate a series of three- and four-night itineraries, all of which will call at Royal Caribbean's private island destination in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
